1. Overview

JustText.ai ("we", "us") operates an SMS-based AI assistant. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By texting our number you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

• Phone number — the mobile number you text from, provided to us by your carrier via Twilio.
• Message content — the text of messages you send and the AI replies we generate.
• Metadata — message timestamps, Twilio message IDs, delivery status, and approximate carrier/region information.
• Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects payment details. We do not store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

• To deliver AI responses to your SMS messages;
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service;
• To enforce our Terms and prevent abuse;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We share the minimum information necessary with service providers acting on our behalf:

• Twilio — to send and receive SMS messages.
• Anthropic — to generate AI replies; message text is sent to the model to produce a response.
• Stripe — to process payments.
• Hosting/database providers — to store conversations and operate the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention

We retain conversation content for up to 12 months to operate and improve the Service, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Billing records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting laws. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. SMS Program & Opt-Out

By texting our number you opt in to receive AI replies. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your usage.

• Text HELP for help.
• Text STOP to unsubscribe at any time. We will stop sending messages and will retain only the records required to honor your opt-out.
• Text START to opt back in.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email magic@rainbowlasers.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure. SMS itself is not an encrypted channel; please do not text sensitive information such as government IDs, passwords, or full financial account numbers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
